We’re off again for a little trip to Louisville, KY to visit the in-laws. I’m looking forward to a lot of swimming, hanging out with the older relatives and trying to figure out when I can return that velour jogging-suit that my mom-in-law will insist will look “just fabulous” on me.

So, even though we’ll only be there a week, when we return home, we hit the ground running by hosting out-of-town guests for a few days. I’m thinking it’s unlikely I’ll be able to check-in with ya’ll for about 10 days. The shakes and sweats of withdrawal are not pretty, let me tell ya!

As always, I predict the goddesses will smile upon you all in my absence and post-up the most fab stuff ever.

A-n-y-w-a-y, I also wanted to let you know that I have been writing, in spite of all the stresses this summer has wreaked upon me. I’ve almost completed my first, multi-chaptered H & G fic. It’s very long for me – I think it will end up being about seven chapters. It’s depicts them as parents of older teens and, uh, it’s a little on the melodramatic side, so be forewarned. I’ve also completed a multi-chaptered Al/Scorpius romance that I really like, but it needs work too. I’m hoping to post both of these up by the beginning to middle of September.

When I come back, I will be posting a short smut piece of H & G. It’s been returned from the beta team but I haven’t had a chance to look at their (many, I’m sure!) corrections so it’ll have to wait until I return.

Soooooooooooo, I've been having loads of frustrating problems in RL, among them being a faulty wireless connection. Somehow, the construction happening on the road outside our home is totally f**king with it.

*heavy sigh*

A-n-y-w-a-y, I thought I would take a look at the other wireless connections I might be able to float around on. There's a medical university up the street and I thought that maaaaaaaaaaaybe I could ride on the free wireless they provide for their students.

As I'm looking down the names of the wireless connections within range, I run across this gem: Anilmaster.

I love my neigbors, I really do!

Just wanted everyone to know that that beautiful silence you hear is the sound of me being gone again - LOL! That's right, the comments sections will be free of me until at least next Sunday. My and my girlie* and five other families are goin' on our annual "OK, who brought the margarita-mix?" (also known as "Those aren't our kids, Ranger Sir, never seen 'em before!")camping extravaganza. Whoo-whoo!

Now I fully expect that the absolute best in H/G fanfic will be posted up when I'm gone. Or at the very least, Ella will do a fab poll that I'll miss.

You know what I realllllllllllllly want? I want Andi to post up all the remaining chapters of BPC so I can cry my eyes out next week as I read it all at once in The Corner. Remember The Corner? It hasn't seen much action lately...*sigh*...
